Welcome to my blog!

I recently came to the realization that my deepest intent is to tell the story of my spiritual journey to support others in theirs. A short story that I wrote a few years ago, "What do you really want?", was published in a book called The Soul of Success, by Jennifer Hawthorne. The book had the stories of 27 women, each representing a type of success. My story represented success in finding freedom.

I'm in the process of writing my first book, which expands on the story of my spiritual journey. The first part, written a couple of years ago, is about breaking through the material trance. I am now writing Part 2, which is about breaking through the spiritual trance. Both trances are painful. The working title is From Materialism to Spirituality to Life: One Woman's Journey to Adulthood. It's not a great title, but you get the idea.

Rather than wait for this book to be published, I decided to start this blog so that I can begin sharing my stories with anyone who is interested. They will usually involve some issue or challenge that I'm going through, and the insights that I have about it. The topic may be around money, work, life's purpose, relationship--anything that comes up in life--and the perspective will be spiritual--although I don't even know what spiritual means anymore.

I can promise that it will be an honest account of what I am experiencing, along with the lessons that I am learning, the patterns that I am seeing, and the realizations that I am having. I hope that we can inspire and support each other in our respective journeys. I look forward to a longterm relationship with you!
